  • Bank evidence
  • Approval record
Required Reading

Romney, Steinbart, Summers & Wood, Accounting Information Systems, 16th ed., transaction cycles and documentation sections.

Field Example

Invoice diterbitkan 28 December, tetapi barang diterima 3 January. Peserta harus menentukan dokumen mana yang paling relevan untuk cutoff.

Learning Activity

Document matching: PO + invoice + GRR + payment evidence. Identify missing or conflicting evidence.

Practice Evidence

Evidence sufficiency memo: what exists, what is missing, and what must be verified.

Professional Reference

IASB Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting, revised 2018, IFRS Foundation. Applicable PSAK / IFRS standards are used according to transaction type.

Prepare transaction analysis, recognition rationale, measurement calculation and proposed accounting entry.

Practice Evidence

Accounting position memo supported by source documents and professional-standard reasoning.

Supplier invoice enters the ERP before physical receipt. What prevents premature recognition?

Learning Activity

Create Risk → Control → Evidence mapping for one transaction cycle.

Practice Evidence

Risk-control matrix with control objective, control owner and expected evidence.

M5
AI-Assisted Transaction Interpretation & Professional Judgment Use AI, but do not surrender judgment to AI.
Module Outcome

Use AI to support transaction analysis while independently validating facts, assumptions, standards and conclusions.
